Harry Kane has made a fantastic start to the season with Tottenham Hotspur, and Tim Sherwood has heaped praise upon him.

Tim Sherwood has told The Debate on Sky Sports (broadcast on 4th October 2017 from 10:00 pm) that he thinks that Harry Kane has the same nastiness that made Alan Shearer so difficult to play against, and suggested that the Tottenham star is clever enough to make sure he gets away with it.
Kane is arguably the jewel in the crown for English football currently, having scored 13 goals in his last eight games for club and country, including 11 in six for Spurs.

Unsurprisingly, he is attracting plenty of plaudits and many are starting to believe that he may be the man who puts up the best attempt yet in trying to catch Alan Shearer at the top of the all-time Premier League goalscoring charts.
And former Tottenham boss Sherwood has suggested that Kane is similar to his old Blackburn teammate when it comes to having a less-friendly side to him out on the pitch.

“And that cleverness to not get in trouble for it. Harry’s talking there about Dele, Harry might not be the angel but he’ll get away with, he’s got a knack of getting away with it. I’m not telling all the referees out there to keep a close eye on him, but he will not get bullied.”
Given all the problems that Kane poses opposition defenders, it would not be a surprise if he lives up to the expectation and does put pressure on Shearer’s record before the end of his career.
Opponents have had around three seasons to work out how to play against Kane, and generally, they have failed to find a way to keep the 24-year-old quiet – and that may well partially be down to his nasty streak.
