Tim Sherwood has shared how Son Heung-min is seen as a ‘top draw professional’ by those at Tottenham and how he goes into work ‘with a smile on his face everyday’.
Well, the next time Son is due in at Hotspur Way, then he will have an even bigger smile on his face following his return to form on Saturday.
Antonio Conte’s side thrashed Leicester City 6-2 on home soil, with their goalscoring machine from South Korea coming off the bench and scoring a 16-minute hat-trick.
It takes the average individual on the pitch longer to warm their legs up, yet Son, seemingly off-form, came off the bench to destroy an already morale-damaged Leicester City dressing room.
The best thing about all of this was that they weren’t just ordinary goals, especially his first two because they were off the scale.
Nonetheless, Sherwood praised Son’s character and how the 30-year-old is a ‘superstar’, as he told Premier League Productions (17/09/22 at 7:30 pm).
“You hear from the other lads that he is a top draw professional,” said Sherwood. “He goes in with a smile on his face everyday. He works hard. He listens to the manager. He’s a superstar.
“He has won three of the last four players of the season at Tottenham, then you have someone like Harry Kane in front of you, who has only won one out of four.”

Well, if that’s Son trying to get back into form, then Spurs fans will probably want these moments to occur on a regular basis.
It was pure devastation from Son, and after being dropped to the bench, you can bet your bottom dollar he’s starting the next Premier League game.
That won’t take place until after the international break and it’s only the small matter of the north London derby.
Arsenal beat Brentford 3-0 on Sunday, to move back to the top of the Premier League table, whilst Spurs are sitting third, so on a normal day, this is a game full of drama, aggression, nerves and pure entertainment.
