Christian Eriksen is an important player for Tottenham Hotspur.

Sherwood managed the Denmark international when he was in charge of Tottenham from December 2013 until the end of the 2013-14 season.

Sherwood told talkSPORT about Eriksen: “He is just a dream to manage. I have seen him when I was looking in from afar when Villas-Boas had him, looking at the work ethic of Christian, and when I took over, watching everyday Christian Eriksen trying to improve himself… He is a dream. I mean, the boy has so much ability.”

Underrated?
Eriksen is one of the best and most creative players in the Premier League, and perhaps the 25-year-old is underrated.
While the rise of Tottenham duo Dele Alli and Harry Kane in recent years has been well documented, maybe the performances of Denmark international have gone under the radar.
The former Ajax star scored eight goals and provided 15 assists in 36 Premier League appearances for Spurs last season.
During 2015-16, Eriksen scored six goals and provided 13 assists in 33 league starts for Tottenham.
So far this campaign, Eriksen has scored seven goals and provided six assists in 25 league matches for the North London outfit.
The Dane will be a key player for Tottenham this afternoon when they take on bitter North London rivals Arsenal at the Wembley Stadium in the Premier League.
