Tim Sherwood has claimed that Dejan Kulusevski is on the ‘same wavelength’ as Harry Kane at Tottenham, as he told Premier League Productions.

The 21-year-old has only been at Tottenham for a few months, but Sherwood thinks that he is already ‘improving by every game’.

The Juventus loanee scored one goal and supplied three assists from his 20 Serie A matches prior to his January move.

And, from the nine Premier League games he has been in north London, the all-action attacker has already scored two goals and supplied four assists.

As a result of his blistering start in England’s top-flight, Sherwood is loving what the Spurs new boy is bringing to the table.

“Kulusevski has settled in very well at Tottenham,” said Sherwood. “I think he is improving by every game.

“The likes of Son and Kane up there, they are always going to be a threat.

“Kulusevski is a good player. He is on the same wavelength as Kane. This guy is warming to the Premier League and he is going to be a top player as well.”

Kulusevski isn’t the only one who has fitted into Antonio Conte’s system with ease because Rodrigo Bentancur is also shining bright.

West Ham’s midfield of Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek is one of the strongest in the Premier League.

But Bentancur proved during Tottenham’s 3-1 win against West Ham that he can dominate a midfield containing such strong performers.

Both players have proven that if Conte is backed even further in the summer, then those days under Mauricio Pochettino, might just return with the possible added bonus of a trophy to their name.
