Tim Sherwood praises Tottenham Hotspur’s Moussa Sissoko

Moussa Sissoko has been playing well for Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks.

Tim Sherwood has spoken highly of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko on Sky Sports ahead of the North London derby against Arsenal this weekend.

Tottenham will take on Arsenal away from home at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Sissoko is likely to start for manager Mauricio Pochettino’s side, with the former Newcastle United midfielder playing well for Spurs at the moment.

The 29-year-old France international has been playing regularly for Spurs in recent weeks, and has shown a remarkable improvement from the kind of form he was showing last season.

Former Tottenham manager Sherwood has praised Sissoko – who earns £80,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com.

Sherwood told Sky Sports about Sissoko: “Sissoko is not my favourite player, but they sung his name the other night against Inter Milan. He is the most improved player they have got at the football club.”
