Tim Sherwood managed Christian Eriksen at Tottenham Hotspur.
Eriksen is one of the best attacking midfielders in the world and is a key figure in the current Tottenham team.
The 25-year-old recently scored a stunning hat-trick for Denmark in their win against the Republic of Ireland in the 2018 World Cup playoff to guide his side to the finals in Russia next summer.
The former Ajax star has made rapid progress over the past few years and has added consistency to his game this season.
Sherwood managed Eriksen when he was at Tottenham, and the former Aston Villa boss has said that he always know that the Dane was world-class.
“I always saw him as a world-class player, his training and work ethic are second to none,” Sherwood told Goal.com.
“Even though he is still a young man, Harry Kane has learnt a lot off him – how to train, how to apply yourself day to day on the training field – he learnt so much from Christian Eriksen.”
Tottenham have a number of other world-class players in their squad, including striker Harry Kane, goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and defender Toby Alderweireld.
Spurs will take on bitter North London rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
