Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose has been linked with a move to Manchester United.

Spurs let Walker leave last summer, and they have arguably suffered in his absence.
Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier both offer strong outlets at right-wing back for Tottenham, but Sherwood feels that Walker is better than them both.
And the former Spurs boss claims that Mauricio Pochettino and Daniel Levy should not even consider selling Rose to Manchester United in January.

“Danny Rose and Kyle Walker are the two best wing-backs in Europe. Look at Walker now, he has been a revelation for Manchester City and a major reason why they are top of the league,” Sherwood said.
“For me, that was not a good move, him going to City and leaving Tottenham, but the next thing is you need to keep hold of Danny Rose.”
United are said to be keen to sign Rose, who is yet to really hit top form at Spurs this season.

Rose has missed much of the campaign so far with injury, and has only featured four times.
Rose could return to Tottenham’s team later this evening, when they take on Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
If Spurs are to beat Leicester, they will move back into the top four in the Premier League table.
