Tim Sherwood has claimed that Leeds United’s Stuart Dallas should be called ‘Mr 7/10’, as he told Premier League Productions (14/12/21 at 7:20 pm).

The TV pundit added that Dallas is a player that ‘doesn’t keep you awake’ because Leeds know what he will produce.

Dallas has been part of Leeds’ journey following their promotion to the Premier League and a big reason why they ended nearly 20 years of hurt in English football’s lower leagues.

The 30-year-old is someone who epitomises his manager because he has the workrate Marcelo Bielsa demands and he can perform in many positions across the pitch.

The Northern Irishman certainly has a fan in Sherwood, who thinks that Dallas is also ‘another leader’ within the Leeds group.

“They should call him Stuart Dallas Mr. 7/10,” said Sherwood. “He does not keep you awake because you know what you are going to get from him.

“Like you say, he is so versatile, he will play anywhere and give his best. I don’t think he will throw his toys out of the pram and say ‘I need to play in this position’. I think he will go and play.

“I think he’s another leader of the group.”

Whilst Dallas has been largely consistent for Leeds since returning to the Premier League, things are starting to go wrong for all involved.

That 7-0 thrashing at Manchester City last time out helps doesn’t help anyone’s cause and things are starting to become problematic at the wrong time.

This is where the fixture list is piling up and the Whites don’t want to be in a situation where they can’t stop losing, especially with their injury crisis.

The Yorkshire club are due to play Arsenal at the weekend, but following recent postponements in the Premier League because of COVID, the question has to be asked whether that game will go ahead.
