Everton put an end to their four-game winless run with an impressive victory against Sheffield United. The Toffees looked much better than they did in their last game against Aston Villa, and the win was deserved.

Richarlison pulled off a brilliant header less than a minute into the second half to give the Toffees the lead. Carlo Ancelotti’s side managed to keep the Blades at bay and it is all thanks to the Brazilian’s 13th league goal of the season.

His header really was brilliant. Richarlison used the pace on the ball to fantastic effect to guide it into the corner, and Everton fans have seen many similar goals over the years.

Club legend Tim Cahill scored quite a few with his head during his time at Goodison Park, and some might say that Richarlison’s header brought back a few good memories.

The Australian took to Twitter to appreciate the effort and Toffees supporters will love Richarlison’s response.

Richarlison, yet again, has been Everton’s best attacker this season. The Brazilian surpassed his record from last term, and the graph is heading in only one direction if he keeps working hard.

The win took the Toffees to 11th place, level on points with Southampton who are below them due to their goal-difference. Sadly for Everton, 11th is the highest they can finish this season but the future certainly looks bright.

An addition or two this summer could change Everton’s fortunes next season. Ancelotti’s experience will help the squad massively and, if Richarlison continues to replicate Cahill, a European place could well be theirs in about 10 months.
