Melbourne City star Tim Cahill has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Everton’s defeat to Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

The Toffees’ disappointing run of form continued, as they lost 5-2 to Arsenal at Goodison Park in the Premier League.

Although the Merseyside outfit took the lead after just 12 minutes through forward Wayne Rooney, the Gunners launched a comeback and picked up all three points from the encounter.

Ronald Koeman’s side also ended the game with 10 men due to the dismissal of Idrissa Gueye midway through the second half.

Former Everton star Cahill, who can operate as a forward or as an attacking midfielder, was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result.

The Australia international has admitted that he found it hard to watch Everton, and has underlined the need for the team to have more leaders.

The defeat to Arsenal means that Everton are now in the Premier League bottom three.
