Tiger Woods played the game unlike any other golfer, and there’s a lot of hope among fans that he’ll be back in action soon.

Woods could move to the PGA Tour Champions amid his lengthy absence from the PGA Tour, with injuries having heavily impacted his playing time recently.

Back surgery followed an operation on a ruptured Achilles tendon for Woods, and those injuries have kept him off the course so far this season.

He’s had his struggles at Augusta in the past, but more often than not, Woods was head and shoulders above everyone else during his prime years.

There are so many reasons why both amateur golfers and fellow professionals look to Woods as someone to learn from.

Tiger Woods’ straightforward tip that could help golfers add distance off the tee

Earlier in the year, the 15-time major champion was available to share some straightforward advice, offering a lesson on how to hit it further off the tee.

“If I’m going to hit this ball up, tee the ball up a little higher,” he said. “I’m moving up in my stance maybe about half a ball and I’m really committed to staying back behind the golf ball to send it.”

He added: “And so what I like to try and feel is if I really, really stand on this right leg and really stand on it, put all the weight driving into the ground and trying basically to hit up on as much as I possibly can. Not try and get ahead of it like I do for a cut.”
