Celtic’s Kieran Tierney has been linked with a Manchester United move.

Celtic star Kieran Tierney has been linked with a move to Manchester United, but he need only look at the man he could replace, as a warning.
Interest in Tierney has arisen due to manager Jose Mourinho’s lack of faith in Luke Shaw, with the defender criticised publicly on at least three occasions this season.
Shaw is an example of a player who might have made the move to Manchester United too early in his career, making a £30 million switch from Southampton, and is simply not ready for the intense demands Mourinho is expecting, with the coach having worked with the very best.

According to the Daily Mirror, Mourinho is highly keen on Tierney, with other Premier League clubs also hovering.
Tierney is still a teenager, and is a superb prospect, but making too big a jump too soon could be detrimental for his career.
Like any promising youngster, he will believe in himself and feel he is capable of succeeding, but he could be in for a shock at Old Trafford.
Is Tierney ready for the level of scrutiny which would come at United, from the media and his own manager? Is he prepared for this to play out publicly if it does not go well?
There is no harm in him being cautious, and no need for Tierney to rush his career.
If he really is a top talent, an extra year or two at Celtic will actually help him, or moving to a mid-table Premier League club where there is less pressure, and more chance of playing time to help him develop.
