Kieran Tierney and Scott Brown remain crucial parts of Celtic’s starting eleven.

Celtic defender Kieran Tierney has shown just how much he appreciates Hoops skipper Scott Brown by posting a heartfelt message on Instagram to the Celtic captain.
Brown, 32, has shown just how crucial he is to Celtic this season once again, arguably being the best player throughout the campaign alongside the likes of James Forrest and left-back Tierney himself.

Both Tierney and Brown will be the first names on Rodgers’ team sheet as the Bhoys prepare to face Old Firm rivals Rangers on Sunday afternoon at Ibrox, in a match that could determine the Scottish Premiership title race.
Brown held a testimonial dinner on Monday night, in which Brendan Rodgers, Gordon Strachan and Neil Lennon all spoke about the Hoops captain before Tierney described the former Hibernian midfielder as his “hero” on Instagram.
Celtic’s number 63, Tierney, is seen by many as Brown’s long-term replacement as Hoops captain, but the highly-rated left-back continues to be high on the shortlist of a number of Premier League clubs.
Brown’s long-term future is also a talking point, with only one more season left on a contract reportedly worth £25,000 a week according to the Daily Star.
The Hoops can extend their lead at the top of the table to six points with a win over Rangers, as well as boasting a game in hand after their league clash against Dundee was postponed last week.
