Kieran Tierney has reacted on his Instagram story to his Arsenal teammate, Rob Holding, trying to mimic his style.
What has made Tierney popular amongst the Arsenal supporters is him opting to wear short sleeves, with no layers underneath and then tucking his shirt into his shorts – old school style.
Arsenal defender, Holding put up on his Instagram story of him trying to copy the Scotsman’s style, with the words “Am I doing it right?”
Tierney did respond to his Arsenal teammate by posting on his own Instagram story: “Needs a bit of work.” added with laughing emojis.
Both players could be in line to start for Arsenal tonight, as they take on AFC Wimbledon in the EFL Cup.
Given that Mikel Arteta has hinted at a strong XI, then Tierney might just be selected, even though there is a North London derby at the weekend.
It seems as though Arteta wants Ben White and Gabriel as his first-choice centre-back pairing.
They have played two games together and secured two clean sheets, but once again, will Arteta rest one or both players for the weekend and play someone like Holding instead.
On one hand, they haven’t played much together `and there isn’t the need to rest them.
But then again, the Gunners are coming up against a League One outfit and there is enough squad talent, including from the Hale-End academy, for Arteta to play instead.
Only a few weeks ago, the Arsenal players and their manager were on the floor.
But it just goes to show what a couple of wins can do, even if it’s against opposition the club are expected to beat.
That mood can go to another level this week because if they progress through to the next round of the EFL Cup, and then beat Tottenham on Sunday, then things will start to look rosy for those associated with the club.
