Tottenham Hotspur have another wave of young talent coming through and temporary stints could be ideal in 2018.

Tottenham Hotspur have already sent some of their exciting youngsters out on loan this season, with Cameron Carter-Vickers impressing at Sheffield United and Josh Onomah getting chances at Aston Villa, but that is just the tip of the iceberg.

Here we take a look at three more Tottenham youngsters who could benefit from a loan spell when the transfer window reopens in January.

Marcus Edwards

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has made it clear that Marcus Edwards is a long way from the first-team as things stand, as reported by the London Evening Standard last month, and if that remains the case in January he should be sent out on loan where he can start to learn what it takes play first-team football week in, week out.

At this stage of his career some Spurs fans expected Edwards to be a semi-regular in the senior side, but he needs to kick-start things and the only way that is going to happen is if he proves his worth elsewhere.

Keanan Bennetts

Predominantly a left winger but now making a name for himself as a wing-back for Tottenham’s under-23s, Keanan Bennetts is unlikely to first a first-team chance in the coming months, so a temporary stint elsewhere could help him build his confidence and develop his experience.

In time Bennetts should be knocking on Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino’s door and a loan spell can only help in that regard.

Kazaiah Sterling

With Shayon Harrison slipping off the radar, Kazaiah Sterling could be the next young striker to step up in North London.

While midfielders and defenders are regularly given chances, forwards find opportunities hard to come by given the form of Harry Kane, the presence of Heung-min Son and now the arrival of Fernando Llorente.

As a result, a chance for Sterling to get some goals elsewhere may be too difficult to refuse if the right offer comes along.
