Walter Zenga’s Wolverhampton Wanderers side may currently be situated in the Championship’s mid-table, but there is no question that several members of their squad have the potential to shine at the highest level.
With that in mind, here are three Wolves stars who looked destined to play in the Premier League, whether that will be at Molineux or following a move away.
Kortney Hause

After impressing at Wycombe Wanderers, the defender moved to Wolves in 2014. Despite being just 21, Hause has already established himself as an important member of the club’s squad in recent times. His performances for England at this summer’s Toulon Tournament saw him grab Crystal Palace’s attention, according to the Express and Star, while Arsenal and Everton have also registered an interest.
Dominic Iorfa

The same report in the Express and Star stated that the Eagles wanted Hause’s teammate Dominic Iorfa also, but face competition from the likes of the Gunners, Southampton and West Ham. The 21-year-old also played a key part in the Toulon Tournament victory. His ability to play at both right-back or centre-back as if either was his natural position will undoubtedly make him an appealing option in January when the top flight squads begin to be stretched.

While the two defenders look to be safe bets to play at the highest level one day, Jordan Graham’s future is arguably more up in the air. The winger has not played since January due to injury, and there will obviously be concerns about whether he will be the same after such a long spell on the sidelines. Before his injury however, he was unquestionably one of the brightest sparks in the second tier. In just 11 appearances, he scored once, and contributed five assists.
Considering how criticism of most wide-men tends to focus around their lack of end product, that return is simply brilliant for a player who has made less than 20 league appearances in his senior career. His ability on the ball gave several full-backs headaches, and a return to that level when he makes his comeback will surely have top flight clubs fighting to sign him.
