West Ham United manager David Moyes may be focusing on his senior players for now, as he instils his mantra in a bid to pull them clear of trouble in the coming months, there will come a time when he looks very closely at the club’s next generation.

West Ham have some of the best young talent in the top flight and many are expected to make the breakthrough in due course.

Here we take a look at three West Ham teenagers that could make their mark in 2018.

Domingos Quina

Still only 18 but with the innate talent to go as far as he wants to, West Ham midfielder Domingos Quina has already earned his fair share of selections for the match day squad.

Thus far, the young Portuguese has had to make do with a role as an unused substitute in the Premier League, but he has four first-team appearances to his name and more will follow.

Nathan Holland

Winger Nathan Holland is regarded by some West Ham fans as their crown jewel and he has certainly been impressing for the under-23s, starring on the left wing and garnering plenty of praise from his coach Terry Westley.

The 19-year-old made his Hammers debut in the EFL Cup clash with Bolton Wanderers earlier this season and in time he should be a shining star for them.

Jahmal Hector-Ingram

While he still has a way to go before he is knocking on the manager’s door, 19-year-old attacker Jahmal Hector-Ingram has the innate talent to make a mark in 2018.

Equally comfortable as a centre forward or an attacking midfielder, the player has scored 12 goals in 23 games for West Ham’s under-18s and is now stepping up to the second string, where he will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of the prolific Toni Martinez.
