David Moyes is likely to rotate his West Ham side against Arsenal.

Things are starting to look up for West Ham United under David Moyes, especially following the 3-0 victory away to Stoke City at the weekend.

On Tuesday night Moyes’ side face Arsenal away in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup, and, with West Ham in the midst of a hectic schedule, the manager is likely to make some alterations to his team.

Here are three West Ham fringe players that need to impress Moyes against Arsenal.

Andre Ayew

Ayew has been mainly used as a substitute under Moyes and faces a major battle to get into the starting lineup for Premier League games, especially with Michail Antonio and Marko Arnautovic currently being deployed up front.

Capable of providing West Ham with a useful outlet given his directness, Ayew is a talented player but this game is a major opportunity for him to prove his credentials to Moyes.

Joe Hart

Moyes has stated that Hart will receive plenty of playing time this season despite the goalkeeper having been dropped recently.

Adrian has impressed in Hart’s absence and the England international must impress against Arsenal if he is given the opportunity.

Javier Hernandez

Hernandez’s quality isn’t in doubt but the Mexican faces a challenge in attempting to re-establish himself in the West Ham starting lineup given that Antonio and Arnautovic are impressing in attack.

If Hernandez was to get on the scoresheet against Arsenal, as he so nearly did in the Premier League meeting between the two sides last week, then it would be difficult for Moyes to ignore him.
