Manchester United could be busy on January transfer deadline day as they look to bolster their squad for the second half of the Premier League season.

The Red Devils have struggled so far this campaign, sitting in mid-table while knocked out of European football and the League Cup. There’s still plenty on offer for Erik ten Hag though, should he turn things around.

A top-four spot is still possible, albeit slightly unlikely unless the change in form is relatively dramatic. A place in the Europa League or Conference League is also up for grabs as a consolation, while the FA Cup remains their best shot at silverware.

It remains to be seen just how well Man United can pick things up in the coming weeks, but the next day could play a key role. The January transfer deadline is fast approaching and any deals could prove to be the difference at the end of the season.

With that said, here’s a look at a few Manchester United transfer options that may go through on deadline day.

Marcus Rashford transfer

A player that has been in the news as of late, Marcus Rashford’s role at Manchester United has come into question. While matters seem to have calmed down, that may not stop a potential transfer if an offer comes in.

That’s because, according to i news, PSG are looking at rekindling their interest in the England international. United are claimed to have no interest in a sale, but a late move in January could see things change quickly.

Martin Braithwaite transfer

With young striker Rasmus Hojlund needing time to develop, Man United could look to bring in a more experienced striker for the short-term to help their cause. HITC Football understands that the Red Devils are one of a number of clubs that have been offered the chance to sign Martin Braithwaite.

The former Barcelona forward is currently impressing with Espanyol, but could be available for transfer in the final few hours.

Takefusa Kubo transfer

One of La Liga’s up and coming stars, Takefuso Kubo has continued to impress since joining Real Sociedad. The 22-year-old is claimed to be of interest to Manchester United, according to Mundo Deportivo, with a release clause worth £51million.
