Tottenham Hotspur and Barnsley face off in the EFL Cup this week.

Tottenham Hotspur kick off their third competition of the season when they face Barnsley in the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening and Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is likely to make plenty of changes to his match day squad.
As well as a few new faces in the starting line-up, with the likes of Juan Foyth and Marcus Edwards potentially starting for Tottenham, there could also be some interesting names on the subs bench and here we take a look at three teenagers who could get the call up this week:
Tashan Oakley-Boothe
Midfielder Tashan Oakley-Boothe impressed for Tottenham during pre-season and it would be no surprise to see him named among the substitutes this week.
The 17-year-old played the full 90 minutes against Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Youth League last week and his talent is such that he will one day be one of the first names on Tottenham’s team sheet.

Kazaiah Sterling
With Shayon Harrison currently off the radar, fellow striker Kazaiah Sterling could get a chance from the bench this week and the 18-year-old will be desperate to seize whatever opportunity comes his way.
The forward is a regular scorer at whatever age level he is playing at and big things are expected of him in time.

Samuel Shashoua
An 18-year-old winger who can both score and create, Sam Shashoua is an exciting talent with plenty of tricks in his locker. It could be a straight fight between him and Keanan Bennetts as to who gets chances first but Shashoua could get the nod on this occasion after a decent start to the new campaign and with the latter playing predominately as a full-back this season.
