Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United go head-to-head this weekend.

As reported by the London Evening Standard, Tottenham Hotspur could be without seven of their first-team stars for the upcoming clash with West Ham United.

Defenders Ben Davies and Dele Alli are definitely out, while Toby Alderweireld, Vincent Janssen Mousa Dembele, Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela are all doubtful, leaving Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino with some big decisions to make this weekend.

Assuming Tottenham are without all seven players, here are three men who need to step up in their absence against the Hammers.

Tottenham's Kevin Wimmer reacts

Kevin Wimmer

Assuming Tottenham continue with three centre-backs for the clash with West Ham, Austrian international Kevin Wimmer will again be vital.

The centre-back may have put through his own net against Arsenal last time out but he impressed overall and he deserves to start this match.

West Ham have struggled for goals this season. However they have the players to cause Tottenham problems and Wimmer can shut them out as the left-sided centre-back.

Tottenham's Son Heung-min celebrates after the game

Heung-Min Son

Heung-Min Son has gone off the boil in recent weeks but with Tottenham struggling for goals the South Korea international needs to up his game.

Harry Kane is likely to feature but Son should operate as the creative force behind him with no Lamela or Eriksen to take on that role.

Moussa Sissoko

It is fair to say French international Moussa Sissoko has flattered to deceive since arriving at Tottenham on transfer deadline day, so now is the time for him to step up.

With a number of midfielders out injured, Sissoko should start and he needs to fire on all cylinders or risk the critics sharpening their knives once again.
