Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre Emile Hojbjerg and right-back Serge Aurier were not spotted in training today, ahead of their Europa League clash with Antwerp tomorrow.
Spurs broadcasted an open session on Youtube this afternoon, but Hojbjerg and Aurier were not visible, with Erik Lamela also sidelined.
Aurier did play with a knock at the weekend, as Spurs beat Arsenal, with Jose Mourinho confirming at full-time that the Ivorian had picked up an issue in the warm-up.
Whether his absence from today’s session was as a result of that injury remains to be seen.
The reasons behind Hojbjerg not being involved also remain a mystery at the moment, but it would be a huge blow if he was injured.
The £15 million defensive midfielder (Independent) has been absolutely superb since arriving at Tottenham and has become a key player.

Hojbjerg could have been rested, as he has played 180 minutes in the past week, and Spurs fans will hope that was the case.
Mourinho should speak later today at a press conference, which will hopefully increase the clarity behind the reasons both Aurier and Hojbjerg were not training.
