Tottenham Hotspur have three youngsters who have really emerged as brilliant prospects on their pre-season tour so far.

Mauricio Pochettino has been eager to give Tottenham’s prospects a chance in the first-team in the build up to the campaign, and there have been some youngsters who have really started to forge a name for themselves.

In this article we take a look at the starlets who look like they could impact on Tottenham’s first team in future years.

Troy Parrott

The striker is already regarded as the most exciting youth prospect at Tottenham, and it has been clear to see why over pre-season.

Parrott has featured in every Tottenham game so far, and even though he hasn’t scored, he has looked at home on the big stage.

Parrott clearly has a great deal of technical ability, with his first touch catching the eye.

The 17-year-old’s display against Manchester United was particularly impressive, as he caused Chris Smalling all sorts of problems.

Parrott also hit the post against Real Madrid yesterday, and could well have shown that he can cover for Harry Kane this term.

Japhet Tanganga

Tanganga has arguably been the star of pre-season for Tottenham.

The 20-year-old didn’t necessarily come on to the tour with a massive reputation, but he has looked brilliant at the heart of Tottenham’s defence.

Tanganga has been tasked with marking some of Europe’s elite strikers, but he has never looked overawed.

And Pochettino will surely be willing to give him a chance in the first-team, should he be required, now.

Oliver Skipp

Skipp has played more for Tottenham’s senior side than either Parrott or Tanganga already, but he has only gone on to further cement his position in Pochettino’s first-team.

Skipp appears to have the world at his feet, and for an 18 year old, he possesses an enviable skill set.

Skipp is comfortable in possession, but his defensive skills have really shone in these friendly matches.

And Tottenham can feel assured that they have a potential superstar breaking through in their midfield for future years.
