Tottenham have just one point from their last three games, and it’s time to make changes.

Mauricio Pochettino, manager of Spurs looks on prior to the Pre-Season Friendly match beween Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus at Wembley Stadium on August 5, 2017 in London, England.

After a defeat to Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur have earned just one point from their last three games.

Spurs were sunk 2-1 away from home, following a draw at home to West Brom and defeat at Arsenal.

Dreams of title contention appear to have already passed them by, and they face a fight to finish the season in the top four.

Changes will be required for the upcoming visit to Watford, and here is a look at three players who should be dropped…

Danny Rose

Danny Rose of Tottenham Hotspur looks on during the Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace at Wembley Stadium on November 5, 2017 in London, England.

At his best, Danny Rose is a better player than Ben Davies, but right now he is nowhere near peak form.

He is still getting back to full fitness and sharpness after an injury, and while game time will help him, Spurs are in the midst of a shaky run.

Against Watford they need to play the defender who is the better player right now, especially up against the threat of Richarlison. That should mean a recall for Ben Davies.

Mousa Dembele

Moussa Dembele simply is not the same player as he has been in recent campaigns.

Harry Winks missed the game with illness, and he can’t recover soon enough.

Spurs need the England international back to full health and ready to start this weekend.

Moussa Sissoko

An early season uptick in form for Sissoko is now on the wane, and he was poor at the King Power Stadium.

Erik Lamela has earned a starting role after his impressive cameo, and if Dele Alli slotted into a deeper midfield role, Lamela could take Sissoko’s place in the line-up.

The Argentine is Tottenham’s trump card, and Spurs need to try and get him ready to start at Vicarage Road.
