Could Kenny Jackett return to Tottenham Hotspur for new recruits after taking the Portsmouth position?
New Portsmouth manager Kenny Jackett
Kenny Jackett is the new manager of Portsmouth, the League One side announced on Friday.
The experienced boss had most recently been coaching at Tottenham Hotspur, having left senior roles at Wolverhampton Wanderers and Rotherham United last year.
So, with new signings required after Pompey’s promotion back to the third tier, could Jackett cash in a favour or two(/three) with his newly-established Spurs contacts?
Here are three Tottenham youngsters who could make smart recruits for Portsmouth…
Luke McGee

A new goalkeeper is sure to be high on Jackett’s agenda after David Forde’s return to Millwall. McGee impressed at Peterborough this past campaign, so much so they are keen to have him back, and he could be available if Tottenham’s bid to sign Pau Lopez proves successful.
Luke Amos

Another of Tottenham’s 2016-17 loan exiles, although Amos didn’t play as often as he would have liked at Southend. The versatile performer will be hoping for more action this time around, and could fill the void left by Ends Stevens’ departure from Fratton Park.
Shayon Harrison

Unlike Amos, Harrison did get a fair bit of exposure at Yeovil during the second half of the season, but only managed one goal for his temporary employers. Nevertheless, the rangy frontman may be welcome at Portsmouth, after Eoin Doyle’s loan ended.
