Jurgen Klopp and Linda Henry hit back Jose Mourinho’s antics last night as Liverpool recorded a late 2-1 win against Tottenham in the Premier League.

After the game, Mourinho was involved in a heated exchange with Klopp on the touchline following the full-time whistle.

The Spurs boss then told Amazon Prime Sport that he told his counterpart ‘the best team lost’ and he also questioned his behaviour.

But Klopp seemed perplexed by Mourinho’s comments, and whilst he admitted that he did say ‘the best team lost’, he stated that there was nothing said about the German’s behaviour.

Added with that, the Liverpool manager had a dig at Tottenham’s style of play by claiming that he ‘can’t remember’ his opponents 19 passes in the final third compared to their 200 passes.

“Then my English is worse than I thought,” sai Klopp. “I thought he said to me “the better team lost” and nothing about my behaviour on the touchline, so I have no idea what it is.

“If you ask me now, I can’t remember the 19 [passes in the final third for Spurs]. That’s how it is. But it’s fine. Different approaches, different ways to play.”

But Klopp wasn’t the only one responding to Mourinho, with the Liverpool owners wife – Linda Henry – posting on her Instagram story ‘Three to remember’ with the caption on top of Mourinho’s post-match interview.

She was seemingly making reference to the three points Liverpool picked up to move to the top of the Premier League table.

Either way, it does seem as though Spurs are here to fight for the title, and at this moment in time, the North London outfit are showing more threat than the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea.
