Leeds United are expected to be active in the January transfer window.

Leeds United still have the best part of £15 million still available from selling top scorer Chris Wood in the summer.

Striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga is only on loan at the club, and recently missed a month of action, and Leeds need to find an alternative.

Here is a look at three potential options for January…

Chris Martin

Derby County forward Chris Martin was linked with an exit this month by The Express, with Wolves interested.

The 29-year-old Scotland international is an experienced Championship striker and might be just what Leeds need.

Martin may also consider more longevity in signing for Leeds as opposed to Wolves, where he would just be a back-up.

Danny Ings

Liverpool forward Danny Ings needs a move this January to get his career back on track after two serious knee injuries.

Ings was linked to Leeds by ESPN earlier this season, although several Premier League teams have since joined the race.

Still, Ings may yet consider dropping down to the Championship in order to play more regularly, and try and emulate the form which once saw him fire Burnley to promotion.

Leonardo Ulloa

Premier League title winner Leonardo Ulloa has been desperate for a Leicester City exit for months, after being overlooked by his last three managers.

The Argentine striker simply needs to play, and has experience with Brighton prior to his time at Leicester City.

Ulloa would be a terrific signing for Leeds and according to the Yorkshire Post was on the club’s radar 12 months ago.
