Mauricio Pochettino is expected to rotate for Tottenham Hotspur’s Carabao Cup visit of West Ham United.

Mauricio Pochettino has suggested to The Independent that Harry Kane will be rested for Tottenham Hotspur’s Carabao Cup fourth round tie with West Ham United on Wednesday.
Kane scored twice in yesterday’s 4-1 win over Liverpool but came off late on complaining of fatigue.
The majority of the starting lineup from Wembley are expected to get a night off, but here are three players who should keep their places…

Jan Vertonghen
Pochettino could make plenty of changes in defence, including given Danny Rose a first start in eight months and youngsters Kyle Walker-Peters and Juan Foyth opportunities.
At least one of the senior defenders need to be retained, and Vertonghen partnered Foyth in the last round against Barnsley.
Dele Alli
The 21-year-old’s legs should be fresh because he hasn’t played in Tottenham’s Champions League games.

With several midfield fitness issues, the visit of the Hammers would be a good chance to test Alli in a deeper role again.
Son Heung-min
The South Korean has been in and out of the Premier League team but was outstanding in a scoring display against Liverpool.
He deserves to start in behind Fernando Llorente. With Kane rested, Son would be Tottenham’s biggest threat.
