Tottenham Hotspur are expected to be extremely active during the summer transfer window.

Spurs have impressed on the whole this season, and undoubtedly have one of the most impressive starting XI’s in the Premier League.
If they are to challenge for major honours on all fronts next term, however, Mauricio Pochettino will surely have to strengthen his options during the summer.
Here are three potential transfer targets for the Argentine, currently plying their trade in Serie A:
Alessio Romagnoli, AC Milan:
The 22-year-old centre-back would be a fanatic addition for Spurs, especially if Pochettino persists with playing three centre-backs.
The Italian is a classy operator, comfortable with the ball at his feet, and an accomplished distributor of the football.
He is also extremely versatile, and can operate as a left-back if required – something that could appeal to the Tottenham boss.
AC Milan’s Alessio Romagnoli
Marek Hamsik, Napoli:
The 29-year-old attacking midfielder would be the ideal signing for Spurs.
Christian Eriksen is often relied upon to provide the creative spark for his club, and when he is not on top form, Tottenham can sometimes suffer as a result.
And the Slovakian, who has chipped in with 11 goals and eight assists in 30 Serie A appearances for his club this term, could be just the man to take the Lilywhites to the next level.
Napoli’s Marek Hamsik
Mario Mandzukic, Juventus:
With Vincent Janssen’s future at Tottenham far from certain, Pochettino should look to bring in an accomplished goalscorer to compete with Harry Kane.
And the Croatian would be an ideal acquisition.
Janssen is quite clearly not good enough to deputise for the England international, whereas Mandzukic’s experience of playing at the very highest level would add a certain level of depth and quality to the Spurs squad.
