Sheffield Wednesday striker Fletcher is being linked with a move to Leeds.

Sheffield Wednesday striker Steven Fletcher is reportedly interesting Greek giants Panathinaikos this summer, after a disappointing campaign with the Owls – but he would be the perfect talisman at Leeds for three reasons.
Greek outlet Sdna.gr claim Panathinaikos are interested in the 31-year-old, but are currently unable to meet his huge £30-a-week salary – which still has two years to run at Hillsborough.
Leeds desperately need a striker and should take advantage of the Greek side’s indecision by looking to lure him to Elland Road for these three reasons:
Deserves Championship chance
Since joining Wednesday, the 31-time Scotland international has made 57 Championship appearances, but 22 of those have come from the bench – completing 90 minutes only 11 times.
The former Sunderland ace has scored 12 goals in that time, but has shown the ability and footballing maturity that is required to score regularly at this level. Give him a chance, and he will score goals
Not just about goals

Leeds boast plenty of players that look to score goals from midfield. Samu Saiz, Kemar Roofe, Pablo Hernandez, Kalvin Phillips and Ezgjan Alioski all got their name on the score sheet regularly.
What Leeds missed last season, though, is a player that could link the midfield to attack on a regular basis and with the new signing of Lewis Baker on board, adding a player that can hold the ball up is key. Fletcher is perfect for such a role.
Matej Vydra – £11million?

Leeds have been reportedly after the Derby County striker, but have been told to pay a huge eight-figure price of £11million for the Czech Republic international.
Yes, Vydra is a good striker, but at the price being quoted by The Rams, the pressure on him to provide Leeds with the 25-30 goals required of a front man will be huge. Fletcher would surely have just as good a chance, at a much lower cost.
