Celtic are going strong in the Scottish Premiership at the moment and are firm favourites to win the title yet again this season.

Brendan Rodgers’s side are currently at the top of the league table with 19 points from seven matches with a game in hand.

Below are three reasons for Celtic fans to be positive this season:

1) Brendan Rodgers

Brendan Rodgers was appointed the Celtic manager in the summer, and the former Liverpool boss has done a superb job so far.

The former Swansea City manager has guided the Bhoys to the group stage of the Champions League.

The Hoops are also at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, and they are firm favourites to win the league title.

The football that Celtic have played under Rodgers has been brilliant to watch, and the club’s fans should be enjoying themselves at the moment.

2) Rangers’ form

Rangers are Celtic’s main rivals, but the Gers are struggling in the Scottish Premiership at the moment.

Mark Warburton’s side are as many as seven points behind leaders and Old Firm rivals Celtic, who have a game in hand.

Rangers were expected to compete with Celtic for the league title this season, but it looks like that the Gers will have to fight for the second place.

Rangers’ less than impressive performances and results so far this season can only be something positive for Celtic.

3) European success

With Barcelona and Manchester City in their group, it is hard to see Celtic progressing to the last 16 of the Champions League this season.

However, the Glasgow giants can certainly end up third and drop down to the Europa League.

Winning the Europa League is not easy and is probably more difficult than clinching the Champions League, but the Celtic fans can be hopeful of the Bhoys going far in the competition.
