Rangers grabbed a second straight 3-0 win on Sunday afternoon, following up their victory over Hearts by hammering Motherwell too.

The Gers saw Scott Arfield score a hat-trick with three fine finishes, proving they can score and win even without Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent.

Elsewhere in Scotland, Celtic couldn’t put themselves on the verge of the title, as they could only draw 0-0 at home to Livingston, with visiting goalkeeper Liam Kelly in fine form.

The other big game of the weekend saw Hibernian take on bitter rivals Hearts at Tynecastle, and the Edinburgh derby was settled by a Daryl Horgan brace for Hibs in a 2-1 win.

Aberdeen picked up a 2-0 win over Dundee, whilst Kilmarnock beat St Johnstone by the same scoreline, whilst Hamilton Academical and St Mirren drew 1-1.

Today, Chris Sutton released his Team of the Week alongside BT Sport colleague Darrell Currie, and three Rangers stars made the cut, with Arfield unsurprisingly one of them.

He was joined by teammates Steven Davis and Ryan Jack, whilst four ex-Rangers players – Liam Kelly, Craig Halkett, Chris Burke and Darren McGregor – all joined them in the side.

There were no Celtic players included, but David Gray and Horgan joined Hibs teammate McGregor in the side, with Kilmarnock’s Rory McKenzie and Aberdeen hero Sam Cosgrove rounding out the team.
