Celtic may be dominating the Scottish Premier League but they cannot afford to rest on their laurels now old rivals Rangers are back in the big time.

The Hoops are eight points ahead of Rangers at the top of the table and have three games in hand to boot.
But Brendan Rodgers needs to start building a side that can realistically compete in next season’s Champions League and he can begin putting the pieces in place this January.
Rangers will be hopeful of European qualification themselves, though, and both clubs will be competing for similar players.
Here are three Premier League players who should realistically be on Rodgers and Mark Warburton’s January shopping list.
Leonardo Ulloa celebrates

The big 30-year-old Argentine wants to leave nearby Leicester City after falling down the pecking order since the Foxes‘ unforgettable title win last season.
Relegation favourites Swansea City and Sunderland are reportedly keen on Ulloa – according to the likes of the Sun – but he is exactly the proven, experienced quality front man both Glasgow sides need to step up a level at home and abroad next season.
The Foxes would more than likely be open to a loan with an option to buy which would appeal to both clubs who can assess the player first hand before splashing the cash at the end of the season.
Ulloa could potentially forge a dangerous partnership with Celtic’s Moussa Dembele.
Bakary Sako
Bakary Sako
The 28-year-old Mali international has made just 23 appearances for Crystal Palace since signing from Wolves back in August 2015.
The powerful winger is struggling for consistent game time in an under performing Eagles side and his future looks to be elsewhere.
While Palace would be tempted by a permanent deal, another loan looks likely but could hinge on any involvement in the African Cup of Nations in January.
His pace would be a real asset and something Celtic and Rangers need to add to realistically compete in Europe.
Everton’s Tom Cleverley looks dejected

Everton midfielder Tom Cleverley has been given a run of games by Toffees boss Ronald Koeman recently but has failed to impress.
Having failed to establish himself at Manchester United then his doomed loan spell at Aston Villa Cleverley is in search of his true level and a place to really put down his roots.
With the carrot of possible Champions League football Celtic would likely hold the edge should they continue their march to the title.
Cleverley would likely attract interest from a host of Championship clubs so would need to be convinced of either side’s long term European ambitions.
