Patson Daka’s reputation has been steadily improving in the past year at Red Bull Salzburg.
Salzburg and RB Leipzig have become a handy staging post for burgeoning talents and Daka looks the next one off the production line.
He found the back of the net four times last night – and laid on two assists – as Salzburg beat Bregenz 10-0 in the Austrian Cup.
But where could Daka go next? We’ve had a look at three potential English destinations for the promising striker…
Tottenham
According to Football London, Daka is on Tottenham’s radar as they search once again for a reliable striking alternative to Harry Kane.
As ever, the challenge is finding a player who is good enough but also willing to play second fiddle to the England captain.
Spurs look set for a frantic season and signing Daka would certainly ease some of the burden on talisman Kane.
If Daniel Levy could land a deal, it would get the Spurs fans excited.
Arsenal
As per Far Post, Tottenham’s north London rivals Arsenal are also in the chase too.
With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leading the charge and Eddie Nketiah coming through, perhaps Mikel Arteta’s need for a frontman isn’t so acute.
But Daka and Nketiah in attack could strike fear into the hearts of defences for years to come.

Liverpool
The same Far Post report says champions Liverpool are best placed to land Daka.
They missed out on Timo Werner to Chelsea, which means they still look light on attacking depth.
The biggest question mark is whether the Reds will spend big money this summer, when all the signs have been that they won’t.
That’s especially pertinent with regards a player who wouldn’t be a regular starter.
Daka has shown Jurgen Klopp his capabilities up close during pre-season, scoring a brace in a 2-2 draw with the Reds last month.
