Adam Armstrong (Newcastle United)
Armstrong scored 20 goals for Coventry in League One last season, but Newcastle have a dilemma with the front man.
The Magpies want to loan him out, but sending him to another Championship club could be detrimental to their promotion chances.
As a result, there appear to be few better fits than Rangers.
Warburton’s side have a good record of developing players who spend time at Ibrox on loan, and the move could benefit all parties if it was to happen.
Che Adams (Sheffield United)
When Sheffield United’s resolve to keep hold of their key players has been tested in recent times, they have usually sold up.
The likes of Jamie Murphy, Kevin McDonald and Jamie Ward have all been sold by the Yorkshire club when offers have come in for them.
Adams looks like the standout talent in their current squad, and he would fit well at Rangers.
The 19-year-old is still raw, but he appears to be one of the most exciting prospects in the Football League and would be an eye catching addition for Rangers.
Matty Taylor (free agent)
Matty Taylor is set to be one of the most in demand strikers this summer, following the expiration of his contract at Bristol Rovers.
The front man netted 28 goals in League Two last season, but he decided that his future lied away from Rovers this summer.
Taylor now looks to be a low-risk, but high reward signing – and Rangers would be wise to make a move.
