Leeds United’s preparations for life in the Premier League are off and running.
After 16 years away from the top flight, the Whites have kicked off their transfer business ahead of their return with two impressive signings.
Robin Koch and Rodrigo have been recruited to bolster Leeds’ ranks at both ends of the pitch, but there is still more to do.
We’ve had a look at three other areas Marcelo Bielsa may well want improvements before the big kick off.
Goalkeeper
Kiko Casilla’s blundering threatened to derail Leeds’ promotion bid at times last season.
He is not fit for purpose in the top flight, which means Illan Meslier will expect to start between the sticks.
Meslier has quality but it’s a big ask for to expect the 20-year-old to shine throughout his maiden top flight season.
A more experienced option may well be needed to add assurance to the backline. Good goalkeepers can earn points on their own.

Left back
Bielsa has Stuart Dallas, Barry Douglas and Gianni Alioski as options here, but may well want an upgrade.
That’s because Dallas could be needed in midfield, Douglas has not replicated his Wolves form yet at Leeds and Alioski might be too attacking an option to be relied upon there in the top flight.
In July, England international Danny Rose was linked with a return to Elland Road by the Sun.
Bielsa may decide he needs a secure, experienced player to nail down this role.

Central midfield
Pablo Hernandez still has something to offer in the Premier League, but can’t be relied upon every week.
That means Bielsa may want a third central midfielder to go with Kalvin Phillips and Mateusz Klich in the engine room.
The Telegraph recently reported their interest in Udinese’s Rodrigo de Paul.
Leeds won’t do a Fulham or an Aston Villa and buy a host of players before their top flight return, but they do still need a couple of other bodies in various positions.
