Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is said to be on the look out for four new additions in the January transfer window by the Daily Express, and in this article we take a look at the players the Ibrox side could sell to make room for their new signings.

Jordan Rossiter

Rossiter may be a talent, but he has simply not been able to show his quality at Rangers due to injury.

With Gerrard now looking to add a central midfielder to his squad, Rossiter must be fearing the worst.

It may be time for Rangers to give up on the youngster, due to his persistent troubles to stay off the treatment table, and getting rid of him could free up room in their squad.

Lee Wallace

Wallace has made just one appearance for Rangers so far this season, with Gerrard seemingly not keen to use the left-back.

It appears only a matter of time before he leaves Ibrox, and Rangers’ transfer plans could spell the end for him.

Andy Halliday

Halliday has been used as a utility man by Gerrard and offered a lifeline at Ibrox, but if Rangers improve the options in their squad he could struggle for game-time.

Gerrard may rate Halliday, but if Rangers do get the additions that he wants, then a move away could be best for all parties.
