Celtic have a whole list of players on the sidelines not being used.

Brendan Rodgers may have to make a decision on the futures of a number of senior Celtic players in the January window, with plenty in the final years of their contract.
Mikael Lustig, Scott Brown and Dedryck Boyata are all in the final years of their contracts, but their future remains up in the air. Indeed, the trio could stay, and be sacrificed at the end of the season.
But there are three others players on the sidelines that are much more likely to leave Rangers in the January transfer window, and here they are:
Scott Allan
Returning to Celtic in the summer, it was always going to be a tall order for the attacking midfielder to break his way into the Celtic side. He has failed to make a single appearance this season for the Hoops.
Allan is out of contract in the summer and if the Hoops want to bring in some cash for the ex-Hibernian loanee, he needs to leave in January. Neil Lennon has already admitted he wants to bring Allan back to Hibs.

Cristian Gamboa
Another example of a player out of contract at Celtic, Costa Rica international Gamboa has failed to have any kind of impact since moving north of the border in the summer of 2016.
Anthony Ralston was given the chance to shine against Motherwell during the Hoops’ 3-0 win and he scored the opening goal. His selection over Gamboa in place of Lustig shows Gamboa is surplus to requirements.

Marvin Compper
Has to go down as one of the worst signings in Celtic history. The 33-year-old defender still has 18 months remaining on his contract, but having played one senior game for the Hoops, he is likely to be off.
January is as good a time as any to get rid of the one-time Germany international, and Compper has even commented on keeping his options open in January. Getting him off the wage bill should be a priority.
