Tottenham Hotspur youngsters could be on their way to Nottingham Forest next season.

Mark Warburton’s relationship with John McDermott is likely to see Nottingham Forest take at least one Tottenham Hotspur player on loan next season, the London Evening Standard reports.

But which players could the Reds get their hands on? Here’s three who might be available:

Luke McGee

A new goalkeeper is likely to be Forest’s priority this summer, and a move to the Championship would be the next logical step for McGee, who has impressed in League one with Peterborough United this season.

Cameron Carter-Vickers

The English-born USA Under-23 international is extremely highly-rated at Spurs, but has been restricted to four senior outings this season with Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld and Eric Dier among those ahead of him in the pecking order. A season at Forest – where compatriot Eric Lichaj is currently employed – could have him knocking on the door upon his return, although his future will likely depend on that of Kevin Wimmer, who has been tipped to move on.

Josh Onomah

Forest’s wingers have flattered to deceive this season, Oliver Burke aside, prompting Jamie Ward’s early recall from his loan at Burton Albion. Hildeberto Pereira and Nicolao Dumitru look set to depart the City Ground at the end of their temporary spells and Onomah, an England Under-21 international, could be deemed an upgrade. The rumoured arrival of Wilfried Zaha at White Hart Lane may move Onomah down in Pochettino’s plans.
