Garner’s injury could prompt Rangers manager Mark Warburton to add to his Ibrox ranks in January.
Glasgow Rangers could be without Joe Garner until April, according to the Scottish Sun.
If true, it could prompt Rangers boss Mark Warburton into action this month, with no like-for-like alternative to the powerful target man currently within the Ibrox ranks.
Could any of the following names make moves north before the deadline?
Libor Kozak (Aston Villa)
The Czech international has featured just twice for Aston Villa’s first team this season and has already admitted a desire to restart his career elsewhere in January. Six-foot-three Kozak, who is out of contract in June, has been keeping fresh in Villa’s Under-23s, scoring five goals in four appearances.

Atdhe Nuhiu (Sheffield Wednesday)
Wednesday are in the market for a striker this month, according to the Sheffield Star, which could spell the end of Nuhiu’s three-and-a-half years at Hillsborough. Though far from prolific, the Austrian’s six-foot-four frame makes him an awkward proposition for defenders.

Kyle Lafferty (Norwich City)
The former Rangers striker has entered the final six months of his Carrow Road contract and is one of several Norwich players who could be moved on as manager Alex Neil looks to raise funds this winter. Lafferty would likely jump at the chance of a return to Ibrox – though, as with Kozak, his wages could be an issue.
