Could the Dutchman look to raid Everton and Crystal Palace if he takes over at Swansea City?

Former Crystal Palace manager Frank de Boer is the favourite to succeed Paul Clement as Swansea City manager. The Dutchman, who was previously linked with jobs at Everton among others, lasted little more than two months at Selhurst Park.
But could De Boer, a four-time Eredivisie winning manager, have better luck at Swansea? Signing the following could help…
Jairo Riedewald [Crystal Palace]

Brought to Palace by De Boer in the summer, having previously played under him at Ajax, things haven’t gone quite to plan for Riedewald in England. The versatile defender or defensive midfielder has only played five times in the league – once from the start – and could be prised away from the Eagles this winter.
Davy Klaassen [Everton]

Klaassen is another of De Boer’s former Ajax stars for whom things haven’t worked over here. Though Everton paid £23.6 million for his services earlier this year, it would come as little surprise to see the 24-year-old moved on in January, and a loan deal could suit Swansea – who sold their main source of creativity (Gyfi Sigurdsson) to Everton in August – given their uncertain Premier League status.
Gregory van der Wiel [Cagliari]

Swansea have been linked with a move for Barnsley right-back Andy Yiadom, but De Boer may want his own man. The 47-year-old managed Van der Wiel at Ajax, before the latter was sold to Paris Saint-German. Now in Italy with Cagliari, the Amsterdam native has only made two appearances this season.
