Everton are in dire straights and some of their stars are not up to the task.

Everton went into the new campaign full of promise but are now managerless and embroiled in an unlikely relegation scrap, with some of their star names failing to deliver thus far.
While a new boss is likely to shake things up and get some of the club’s less than impressive performers firing on all cylinders, there are some Everton players who should be sold in January.
Here we take a look at three likely candidates who should head for the Goodison Park exit at the first available opportunity:
Morgan Schneiderlin
Midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has been terrible this season and there are no signs his form has turned since the departure of Ronald Koeman.
In truth the former French international has been well below his best ever since he left Southampton and it is hard to see him turning things round any time soon, so selling to a foreign club could be the best option for all concerned.

Cuco Martina
Everton may have signed Cuco Martina on a free back in the summer but it was still too much. The Koeman favourite has done nothing to justify his inclusion and will surely be shunted aside when the new man arrives.
Awful performances are one thing, but robbing Jonjoe Kenny of the chance to shine is another key reason why he should be sold.

Ross Barkley
Everton are going to lose Ross Barkley one way or the other, with their current predicament surely making a change of heart unlikely even with Koeman out the door.
If the Toffees want to get a decent wad of cash for the midfielder it is January or bust, and the Everton hierarchy are not going to want to lose the player for nothing.
