Tottenham Hotspur staged a comeback against Manchester City in the Premier League at the weekend.

Tottenham Hotspur played out a 2-2 draw with Manchester City away from home in the Premier League at the weekend.

The North London outfit had to come from two goals down to pick up a point away from home at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening.

After a goalless first half, Leroy Sane put City in the lead on 49 minutes and Kevin De Bruyne added a second just five minutes later.

Spurs halved the deficit through Dele Alli in the 58th minute and equalised on 77 minutes when Son Heung-min found the net.

The performance of Mauricio Pochettino’s side was not great, but the players and the fans will be happy with the comeback and with the point gained.

Below are three points which sum up Tottenham’s mood after the match against City.

Tottenham are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 46 points from 22 matches.

The North London club are nine points behind leaders Chelsea and could find it tough to catch Antonio Conte’s side.

Spurs will return to action next weekend when they take on Wycombe Wanderers at White Hart Lane in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
