Tottenham still have no date for their new stadium to open.

Tottenham Hotspur are still unable to declare a date when their new stadium will open, The Times report.
The stadium was originally scheduled to open in September, with the date continually being pushed back.
The Times report it may not be April now until the new ground is opened.
Before a date can be set, there are reportedly three obstacles to overcome.
– Firstly Tottenham must work out which date they want to open the stadium on. The home game with Brighton is said to be a possibility, but this cannot be finalised pending the Seagull’s FA Cup run as the fixture may need to be moved.
If Brighton lose their fourth round replay against West Brom this week, the situation will be simplified.
– Tottenham must still stage two test events at the stadium. Last night’s NFL Superbowl screening to 1,000 attendees did not count.
– Spurs must receive Premier League approval to formally switch stadiums.

The third and final step cannot be done without the other two, and the uncertainty is dragging on.
It would have been ideal if the stadium was already open for Tottenham’s Champions League encounter with Borussia Dortmund, but this is no longer a possibility.
Tottenham’s final home game of the season is scheduled for May 12 against Everton.
Fans will hope by then, they are well settled in to life at the new stadium.
