Nottingham Forest closed in on the top six of the Championship table with an impressive 3-0 win over Bolton Wanderers on Wednesday evening – and Matty Cash, Lewis Grabban and Joe Lolley reacted on Twitter.

Grabban and Lolley took the headlines, as the latter opened the scoring with a powerful left-footed drive thanks to a well-weighted pass from ex-Sunderland, Aston Villa and Norwich City striker Grabban.

It was then Grabban’s turn to get his name on the score sheet. Despite missing a penalty, 30-year-old Grabban stepped up to score the seventh and eighth goal of the Championship campaign.

His first came with a well-executed finish from close range, before he showed bravery to take a second penalty – dispatching it past Ben Alnwick. The goalscoring duo, as well as substitute Cash all reacted on Twitter.

A fifth win in eight games for Karanka and Forest sees them move up to seventh place in the Championship table, just two points off the top six.

They will be looking to break their way into the play-off places on Saturday, but they face a very tough challenge in travelling to Elland Road to face Leeds United in an evening kick-off in front of the television cameras.
