Rangers have appointed Graeme Murty as their new Head Development Squad Coach – as confirmed by the club’s official website.
The former Scotland international is best known for his playing career with Reading but has recently found success as a youth coach with the famed Southampton academy and most recently at Norwich City.
He is leaving the Norfolk club, with whom he held a position as under-18 coach.

Rangers boss Mark Warburton will be hopeful that Murty’s appointment can see the club bring through some talented youngsters.
However, could he bring in some players from Norwich as well.
The Canaries have some very talented players and Rangers are more than happy to bring players in on loan.
Here are three potential options…
Josh Murphy
Rangers could do with some more attacking talent. Murphy has been featuring for Norwich early on in this season but would potentially have a chance of more first-team football at Ibrox.

Carlton Morris
The big striker spent time on loan at Hamilton Academical last season and would be able to fill a gap in the Rangers first-team.
Ben Godfrey
Signed from York City in January the talented defender is still waiting for first-team chances at Carrow Road.
Ibrox could be a great destination to further his game.
