Who else could Celtic target?

Celtic are hoping to do a deal this summer for talented winger Henry Onyekuru, The Scottish Sun report.

The forward who models his game on Thierry Henry is contracted to Belgian side Eupen, and has also attracted attention from Liverpool.

Onyekuru is not the only Nigerian player who Celtic should be taking a look at.

Here are three more Super Eagles who Brendan Rodgers could look to bring to Glasgow…

Isaac Success

Watford made a move to sign the brilliantly named Isaac Success in the summer, but so far his spell at the Hornets has not lived up to his moniker.

Injury has restricted him to just one start and nine substitute Premier League appearances, and the 21-year-old could benefit from a move, even if on loan.

Success can play up front or out wide in a 4-3-3, and scored six goals for Spanish strugglers Granada last season.

Victor Osimhen

Wolfsburg won the race to sign coveted striker Victor Osimhen last year, after the 18-year-old impressed at the under-17 World Cup.

Now 18, Osimhen is waiting for a first team chance, and might stand a better chance of first team football at Celtic.

A loan deal is Celtic’s most likely option again here, but Osimhen is a bright talent who could really make a name for himself in Scotland.

Kelechi Iheanacho

Already established at Manchester City, Kelechi Iheanacho already looks like a budding superstar.

Yet his future could come into question after the emergence of Gabriel Jesus, who has even pushed Sergio Aguero down the pecking order.

If Aguero stays at City then Iheanacho could be available, if just on loan, and Celtic’s recent links with Manchester City as demonstrated with their deals for Patrick Roberts and Jason Denayer, could come in useful.
