Could any of these Newcastle players improve Liverpool’s squad next season?

Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle United suffered relegation last season but it appears the Spaniard is set to stay on as boss in the Championship.
Keeping hold of their best players will not be easy, especially if big Premier League sides come calling.
Here is a look at three players who could be good signings for Benitez’s former club Liverpool…
Giorginio Wijnaldum
Dutch winger Giorginio Wijnaldum beat Memphis Depay to PSV’s player of the year award in 2014/15, but was sold for half the price.
His performances in the Premier League last season were superior, despite Newcastle’s relegation.
He finished the campaign as their top goalscorer, although struggled away from home.
Wijnaldum would be an interesting player for Liverpool because they lack threat from wide positions, and he is more polished and dangerous player than prospect Jordon Ibe.
Cheik Tiote

Cheik Tiote is at this stage considered a Premier League veteran at 29, but raised his game late in the season to demonstrate he can still be a big player.
The Reds could use Tiote to succeed Lucas Leiva in midfield and add an experienced face to their squad, although it could be argued French international Moussa Sissoko is a better option.
Ayoze Perez

Ayoze Perez is one of the most highly rated young talents in Spain but was inconsistent at Newcastle last season, struggling to shine in a team lacking form and confidence.
A highlight was an injury time winner against Tottenham Hotspur at the end of last year, and time is on his side to create many more memorable moments.
He is just 22-years-old and only earlier this month The Mirror reported Barcelona were showing an interest.
