That said, Pochettino has often shown preference for Erik Lamela and it will be interesting to see who gets the nod this week.
Wanyama or Dembele
Summer signing Victor Wanyama has had chances to impress in the absence of Mousa Dembele, but the Belgian international is back for this game and he could well start ahead of the Kenyan.
A lack of match sharpness could however mean that Dembele starts on the bench and comes on in the second half.
Sissoko or Alli
Deadline day signing Moussa Sissoko has had to wait for his first start but he was signed for exactly these kinds of occasions.
That said, with Christian Eriksen seemingly un-droppable after his superb showing against Stoke, it seems to be a straight fight between the French international and Dele Alli for a starting berth.
