With the January window opening soon, Manchester United are considering which players could benefit from a loan move for the rest of the season.

Jadon Sancho was one of more than 15 players sent out by United over the summer, a list that also included several academy prospects.

Ruben Amorim is hoping that most of these players will return with valuable experience. For Sancho, it’s a chance to showcase himself ahead of becoming a free agent in the summer.

Others like Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund are also looking to future moves, as they don’t seem likely to feature for United again.

Meanwhile, Radek Vitek and Harry Amass have been catching the eye in the Championship. Vitek is targeting a debut with United down the line, while Amass will be looking to build on his appearances under Amorim.

Ayden Heaven could leave Man Utd on loan

It appears that at least three Manchester United players could be heading out on loan in January.

The Daily Mail reports that Ayden Heaven, Diego Leon, and Sekou Kone are all candidates for temporary moves away from Old Trafford midway through the campaign.

Heaven showed potential under Amorim after joining from Arsenal last January but has made only three appearances this season.

And with Lisandro Martinez back in the squad, the 19-year-old looks set to drop further down the pecking order.

Leon arrived from Cerro Porteno over the summer and has been named on the bench just three times so far. He recently made his debut for Paraguay’s senior team, and a loan move could help him gain more regular playing time at club level.

Kone has been with United for over a year now, but despite ongoing issues in midfield, he still seems no closer to breaking into the first-team setup.

Ayden Heaven given U21 start to build up minutes

Ayden Heaven featured for the U21s in their National League Cup match against Solihull Moors on Tuesday night.

Heaven was named on the bench for United’s 1-0 loss to Everton, but Amorim opted not to use him.

His most recent first-team appearance came off the bench in a 4-2 win over Brighton, where he set up Bryan Mbeumo’s second goal of the game.

The only match he’s started this season was the Carabao Cup loss to Grimsby Town.
